Hard-Won, Not Done: Celebrating the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment

DATE & TIME
Wednesday, August 26 | 3pm – 3:45pm EDT

Amid COVID-19, #BlackLivesMatter, and a divisive election season, 2020 also marks the 100th anniversary of the 19th Amendment, which, in 1920, granted some women the right to vote. While it’s true that the suffrage movement forever changed America, many of us know little about how the right to vote was won and who made it possible. Join us for a conversation to celebrate the modern-day leaders continuing the universal fight for gender equity across business, culture, and policy today.

Speakers:
Shelley Zalis, CEO, The Female Quotient
Ximena Hartsock, Co-Founder, Phone2Action
Ayo Dahunsi, Founder, Ajilla Foundation
Stephanie Rodriguez, VP of Policy and Engagement, AnitaB.Org
