Girl Unlocked: Exploring Opportunities to Reach Your Potential

A collection of interactive online sessions co-hosted by The Female Quotient and Plan International USA. Taking place the week leading up to International Day of the Girl, the workshops will be led by female entrepreneurs and business leaders and include Plan International USA youth advocates as co-hosts and interviewees. These sessions will highlight the importance of unlocking girls’ voices and their critical role in shaping the dialogue around girls’ right and equality. The Female Quotient and Plan International USA are supporting girls and young women as they push through doors and unlock their power and potential, because a girl unlocked is the key to our future.

This discussion, facilitated by a Plan Youth Advocate, will center around how the Beauty Industry is shaping the ways girls can create a unique brand, use their creative outlets to set themselves apart, and build a career in the beauty industry

This discussion, facilitated by a Plan Youth Advocate, will feature how women are stepping into new roles and careers to find success. Women are thinking outside the box when it comes to charting a career path and opportunities outside of the traditional female role are becoming more prevalent. This is an opportunity for girls to hear from trailblazers in their field on how they’ve made a name for themselves.
