12PM – 12:45PM EDT Intersectionality and Latinx Identity
Myriad factors form our identity — which is why many, justifiably, balk at using a single word to sum up their self-concept. We have gathered a power group to explore the concept of identity, the evolution of the term “Latinx,” and how to integrate intersectionality into our self- and world-view.

Speakers:
Tristen Norman, Head of Creative Insights, Americas, Getty Images (Moderator)
Ana Flores, Founder and CEO, #WeAllGrow Latina
Patricia Mota, President & CEO, Hispanic Alliance for Career Enhancement (HACE)
Francesca Bacarossi, U.S. Multicultural Performance Manager, Google

Thursday, October 1

12PM – 12:45PM EDT The 46% Gap: Latina Wage Inequalities
Latina women earn 54 cents for every dollar that their white, male counterpart makes — which means that they have to work until October 29 just to make what he earned in the last year alone. We examine the systemic barriers that continue to hold Latina women back and outline tactical ways to close the wage gap.

Speakers:
Claudia Edelman, Founder, We Are All Human (Moderator)
Arabel Alva Rosales, CEO, A.A.R Associates
Carolyn Rodz, Founder & CEO, Hello Alice
Lili Gangas, Chief Community Technology Officer, Kapor Center for Social Impact

Thursday, October 8

12PM – 12:45PM EDT Behind The Lens: Reclaiming the Narrative
The Latinx/Hispanic community is diverse and dynamic — so so why is it so often portrayed through a narrow lens? We hear from creative talent who are reclaiming the narrative, challenging stereotypes, and bringing all facets of the community into focus.
