On International Women’s Day (March 8th), Tennille Amor (@TennilleAmor), in partnership with The Female Quotient (@wearetfq) and Refinery29 (@Refinery29), is launching the ‘I Am a Girl’ campaign calling on women and girls from around the world to upload videos of themselves singing and dancing to Tennille Amor’s song, ‘I Am a Girl,’ which was first released at the United Nations last year. Tennille Amor is a singer/songwriter, and United Nations Planet 50/50 Youth Champion, in support of Gender Equality and Female Empowerment. The Female Quotient is committed to advancing equality in the workplace, and Refinery29 is a news/media website that aims to create a world in which women feel, see, and claim their power.
The #IAMAGIRLclub campaign will run throughout March, Women’s History Month, and extend until Mother’s Day (May 14th).
1) Download a free copy of ‘I Am a Girl’ from the Soundcloud link at www.iamagirl.club.
2) Play the song in the background of the video you upload to Instagram or Facebook.
3) Use the hashtag #IAMAGIRLclub, so we can find your video.
5) Tag three other girls who would benefit from the message to follow their dreams and be anything they want to be in life!
Participants will have a chance to be featured alongside incredible women in entertainment, business, fashion and politics, not only in the video, but on Refinery29’s website and social platforms, and on iamagirl.club as well.
The most creative videos will be chosen to be featured in the re-launch of the song and music video in Cannes, France, at The Girls’ Lounge at Cannes Lions, June 19th – 22nd, at the International Festival of Creativity, celebrating the best creative work in the world.
We hope you join us in celebrating and inspiring girls around the world! #IAMAGIRLclub
